STAAR/EOC

About STAAR/EOC

STAAR tests (referred to as End of Course exams or EOC in high school) are administered each spring as an annual assessment of student mastery of the content that was taught throughout the year.  Test administrations in June and December are offered to give students another opportunity to earn graduation credits if they did not receive the required score on the spring administration.  All high school students are required to achieve Approaches or higher in order to meet graduation requirements on the following tests:

English I - April 9, 2025 starting at 7AM

English II - April 10, 2025 starting at 7AM

Biology - April 15, 2025 starting at 7AM

United States History (1877 to present) - April 16, 2025 starting at 7AM

Algebra I - April 23, 2025 starting at 7AM

 

Parents can help on test day!

  • Make sure your student gets at least 7 hours of sleep.
  • Have them put their Chromebook on the charger before going to bed.  It needs to be fully charged for testing.
  • Eat a balanced breakfast with plenty of protein.
