LIT Grading
LIT Grading System
In order to remain in Good Academic Standing, students must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher with LIT - this is referred to as Satisfactory Academic Progress. If a student falls below that threshold, he/she will be placed on a level of Academic Warning, Probation, or Suspension depending on the GPA and how many semesters it has fallen below 2.0. If a student is placed on Academic Warning, Probation, or Suspension it could result in the need to withdraw from Beaumont ECHS and move to the student's zoned campus.
LIT Grade Replacement
If a student retakes a college class and wants to replace the first, lower grade with the second, higher grade, then the student must complete this form and bring it to the BECHS counselor for guidance on submitting the form to LIT.
